Bertha is back and catching fire now. Good luck points west!! She is looking bteter each minute on vis pix. Christobal has staying power also. Latest vis lops show it moving just east of due south (drifting) but is more symetrically oriented, even with intense shear. I figure if he stays weak long enuf maybe the mid-level trough won't pick him up, and he'll hold position until the ridge takes over. Conjecture only of course, but his weakness may be keeping him in the game. Bertha looks formidable. Don't know the current pressure but she's gonna pay a visit to the NW gulf coast.
