Lots of banding rainfall in Orlando, but the Gulf Coast looks to get a soaker + surge event.

We left Dauphin Island, Alabama this afternoon. The west end is flooded and impassable. Steady winds 30-35 mph with higher gusts.

Sept. 15, 2020 @ 10:00 AM Central in Long Beach, MS/ Across the street from the Gulf.
I stepped out on my front porch as we are beginning to have wind. No rain yet. The Gulf water is starting to rise...more of the beach is covered. The Gulf is usually flat except for white caps during a strong rain storm, but today I actually see waves forming farther out as they do on the Atlantic before coming to shore.
