NWS Visit

From LI Phil:
Really surprising how SMALL my NWS is...about the size of a McDonalds. Really only one room where the "real" action happens. Saw the release of a weather balloon...about as exciting as it sounds....Click on the "attachment" for a photo They release 2 of these a day at 1200 zulu and 2400 (their words, I thought it was 0000) zulu, so this was released at approximately 4:00 EDT. When Isabel approached last year, they sent up 4 a day. Das all on this, but if anyone is actually interested in my little field day, PM me and I'll regale you with a short story.
