I have always followed closely hurricanes, but I am interested in typhoons as well. Particularly supertyphoons. In recent times, what has been the most intense typhoon? In terms of windspeed, low pressure, etc.

You might want to check out Aere and Chaba. Aere is very large now and is exhibiting good outflow.
