missing family member
      #52872 - Wed Aug 31 2005 08:29 AM

How can I locate a missing family member in long beach ms? I have tried every agency but no luck. I can not get anyone to do a welfare check and see if the house is even there. We have not heard a word since the hurricane.

I guess we will have to wait for phone service to be restored. I also have my mother-in-law who evacuated to Laurel,MS from Slidell, LA who we have not heard from since Sunday afternoon. I'm guessing that her house in Slidell did not hold up very well. Was a large sturdy house, however from what I'm hearing and reading I believe it is probably 15' underwater
Hopefully we will all hear something soon......
Does anyone know how they fared in Laurel? I know she was staying in a hotel there. Just not sure which one.
