Lili has been upgraded to Tropical Storm status again by the National Hurricane Center based on reports from a recon aircraft and satellite imagery. Lili has reorganized overnight and has developed a much better structure. Outflow has improved in all quadrants - which indicates that the southerly shear over the storm is decreasing. Lili should attain hurricane status over the weekend. The storm will move over or just south of Jamaica on Saturday and approach western Cuba, as a hurricane, on Monday with a potential threat to the Keys on Tuesday and the remainder of Florida next Wednesday. Hurricane Kyle is located 450 miles south southeast of Bermuda and is moving slowly to the southwest. An active tropical wave is located near 12N 55W and additional slow development is npossible over the next couple of days.

Ed; You impressed me with your Edourd forecast... But for somebody trying to launch the Space Shuttle Wednesday, I hope you have better news for Floridians. Please keep up the excellent Forums that you post.
