How strong will Wilma be at landfall?
      #60393 - Thu Oct 20 2005 09:57 PM

I think it will be a Category 4 because if Wilma can get strong so quickly,I will say it can become an even more powerful hurricane, despite the eyewall replacement cycle.

Time will tell.
Wonderful thing about the so-called 'informed' vs 'uninformed' opinion.

I think a high cat 1, maybe a low cat 2. Landfall around Siesta Key and an exit somewhere from Sebastion Inlet to New Smyrna Beach........Weatherchef

I say a mid Cat three. Since Wilma still stays Cat 4 right now and it is moving along the coast rather thang tearing through the mainland. The weaknening shouldn't be significant.
