96L is going to hit significant shear at both the upper and mid levels, and is heading into dry air which has already had an effect overnight. Once it gets to about 65W (where the other wave is now) conditions may be better.

It won't break my heart if this shear keeps up.

All heck can break loose in August if it wants. We need good weather in Tampa for 7/22-29. (My son's nationals. *LOL*)

We did have 3 inches of rain in 24 hours over the weekend. If it wants to keep THAT up, that won't break my heart either. We desperately need this rain and it's doing a world of good.

I like these rainmakers coming through, what, about once a week isn't it? Rain and no wind. I'll take it. Our freshwater canal system in our development is finally starting to rise to low-normal ranges. (It was the lowest I've ever seen it in 9 years.)
