Saturday I was at work and the old oak tree that has a couple of centuries worth of Cicadas was on full volume of screeching and carrying on in full daylight. It sounded much like a very old computer modem and the old sounds that Microsoft used to make to let you know your dial up was supposedly working. Those sounds were astoundingly loud during our 2004 triple header. Again yesterday it caught my attention when I was coming out of the door. Unless those critters are trained to say howdy to our visitors, the storms brewing out there have their attention. No other noticeable signs other than the domestic critters are a bit antsy and vigilant in the last few days. Food going faster.
