Lake County Schools [Re: Liz]
      #72485 - Tue Aug 29 2006 02:21 PM

The Lake County School District school schedules have been altered due to the path of Hurricane Ernesto.

Due to the impending Hurricane Ernesto…please make arrangements to close schools an hour earlier than your normal early release schedule (Wednesday’s Schedule). The following approximate schedule will be followed:

High Schools will close at 12:30 p.m.

Elementary Schools will close at 1:00 p.m.

Middle Schools will close at 2:00 p.m.
All after school functions will be canceled at this time to include ELC “after school care”. Please make all the necessary preparations to secure your facilities and grounds, etc.

Please adjust your lunch schedules accordingly.

Release all personnel as soon as possible on Wednesday after student dismissal and the campus is clear. Please share this information with all staff.

At this time we anticipate that school will resume a normal schedule on Thursday. Please stay tuned to your local media for further updates.
