June XT Low
      #74206 - Mon Dec 04 2006 09:37 AM

I am wondering if that extra-tropical low we had up the east coast in June will ever be reviewed for TD or TS status. I don't recall the winds, but the circulation was there, and so were the rains - 12 inches + here in DC.

Have a good season everybody, it was nice in a way not to have to check in here every day.

I don't believe the NHC is going to review that system, but their November/season wrap-up did state that they are going to review the feature that scooted up the eastern seaboard toward Nova Scotia in July for potential subtropical or tropical status. (See

No word as of yet. Seven of the nine preliminary reports are available from the NHC's website with no mention of a 10th system thus far.
