Something big is going to develop in a few days.. Accuweather meteorologist Jesse Ferrel says it has a deepening pressure of a category 3 hurricane. Models do mess up alot.. just 2 days ago this very same storm was supposed to move up into Canada from the upper midwest. Now it bombs off the East Coast with Rain/ possible tropical storm force winds/ Blizzard interior areas. Some thing to watch.. heres the 12Z model run for today on this storm

- second storm
- pressure about 980 to 990 MLB
- major flooding and beach erosion on coast
- possible heavy snow and ice around upstate NY and New England

He's probably read the HPC Discussions over the last few days. They are progging the systems to nearly the same parameters and forecasts.

so far on the 06Z of the , lowest pressure it will get up to will be 976 MLB. Pretty bad but not as bad as the 1993 Superstorm from what I read, got low as 960 MLB. Could it happen with this storm?
Anyways.. The 12Z shows snow in NYC and Philidelphia, and the 06Z run shows a pocket of snow for a bit in the NYC area.. man would that be amazing if the low were to track a bit to the east.. We'd be talking about a blizzard on the east coast in mid April. We'll have to see what happens in the future.. down here in Florida, I will be impacted with another possible "rare" moderate risk of severe weather.
This thread was moved because it drifts away from the purpose of the site which is to discuss tropical systems, not ones. The Other Weather Events Forum is a place to discuss non-tropical events that have happened, not events that might happen.
