90E Forms in the East Pacific
      #74965 - Fri May 25 2007 09:58 AM

90E has formed in the East Pacific and on Rainbow Image it looks good:

In The Eastern Pacific Tropical Weather Outlook issued by the NHC they said this:

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
400 AM PDT FRI MAY 25 2007

FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE..

A NEARLY-STATIONARY AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IS LOCATED ABOUT 525 MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF MANZANILLO MEXICO. ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF
THIS SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS IT MOVES
SLOWLY.

I think that it will be no threat to land.

Can't say the mets at the NHC don't have a sense of humor ...

From the 5:00 PM (Final) discussion on Alvin:

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT SIMON AND THEODORE...BUT ALVIN IS NO LONGER A
TROPICAL CYCLONE.

When in doubt, take the word of the National Hurricane Center
