A few hot spots under scrutiny by the today.
Active tropical wave in the Caribbean Sea with large somewhat ill-defined circulation and a possible center near 12.5N 79.2W at 16/18Z. System is moving to the west at about 15 knots with southwesterly shear just to the north of the system. Good satellite presentation with active convection and a chance for additional development - certainly worthy of an Invest assignment.
Invest 94L - still remains disorganized southeast of Barbados with apparent center (difficult to locate) near 12.8N 57.0W at 16/18Z. Movement to the west at 10 knots with northwesterly shear just to the west of the system. RECON currently investigating - additional slow development is possible, but probably not for a few days.
Weak tropical system moved inland over the Florida peninsula from the Gulf of Mexico with a possible weak center near 27.7N 81.4W at 16/19Z. System is moving slowly to the north northeast at 5 to 10 knots in an area of light wind shear with an upper level anticyclone over the peninsula. Additional development is not expected.
Cheers,
ED

94L on the Visible Satellite appears to have a circulation center near 11N and 58W, or due east of Trinidad and the northern South America coastline. But it's largely exposed, with most of the remaining storms and convection to the N and NW of the circulation area.
Bertha appears to be dying out as she moves out to sea. I think this cyclone is just about finished.
The area over Florida doesn't appear to be getting any better organized. It may be something to watch though if it gets out into the Atlantic and over the gulf stream on the east side of Florida.
Finally, the area in the SW Caribbean doesn't appear any better organized than it was earlier this evening.
