Original Update
Ida's run up the Caribbean into the Gulf caused a great deal of deadly flooding rain in Central America, and a scare in the Gulf, and eventually the remnants became a nor'easter that affected the mid Atlantic states. Including Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland and North Carolina a great deal with beach erosion some wind damage and coastal flooding. Even lots of rain further north.
Ida will likely be remembered as the only memorable storm of 2009 more for its affects after it became along the mid atlantic coast rather than when it was a tropical storm and Hurricane. (aka the Ghost of Ida as Mark Sudduth and Jesse Bass called it).
There is a front in the Gulf that could cause some nasty weather this week, and more erosion and storms for the mid atlantic, but nothing tropical looks to be on the horizon.
