Mexico officials have increased the Alert level for the Popocatepetl volcano.
The current Alert Level is a 3, out of 5. Or 5 out of 7 citing CENAPRED, Mexico's National Center for Prevention of Disasters (Centro Nacional de Prevención de Desastres, or CENAPRED).

Popocat is to the lower left of the Sun, black dot in the clouds. The clouds and ash plume give the Sun a strange appearance. At first glance I though the black dot was ejected lava rock or pumice.
