With Bonnie moving northeast across the NE gulf, any chance the subsidence (sinking air) around the periphery of the storm will serve to enhance the ridge located over the SE gulf. And if that is possible, could this not steer Charley a little farther west than the models indicate before recurving it off to the northeast?
