Bahamian Damage Report
      Thu Sep 02 2004 10:00 PM

From Bahamian radio stream, Callers between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m. 09/02/04
Power, phones out on both Islands. Cell phones still working in some areas.

Cat Island - Winds slowing some but still gusting pretty hard. 4 trees sheared off callers area, hasn't been able to get out to look. Church roof blown off.

Long Island - Still experiencing bad winds, putting towels under doors because rain blowing straight under them. Main road in Long Island flooded, cars are floating. They are on high ground, lower areas are inundated with water. One caller was desperate to know HOW much longer it would last and said they didn't know it would last this long.

No word from San Salvador.

--------------------
Survived Charley at Cat 4 under a staircase. Won't do that again. I watch SW Florida and Abaco primarily.
