Google Map enhancements
      Thu Jul 14 2005 10:45 PM

on the google map plots you now have the ability to plot out a NHC forecast for any point on the map. If you click the point, and "Plot forecast" then it will plot out the forecast from that advisory. So you can visually see how close the track was to the actual track.

I changed the pins (thanks tpratch) and added a couple options along the bottom.

This isn't in place of skeet's maps, just an interesting bit of code I took from Ken R and went crazy with. The "plot forecast" button uses dynamic xml data pulls to get information, so you aren't loading up every single point and every single forecast when you launch the map. It loads as needed.

Forecasts only go back to advisory 9 on Emily.
