We are having the same sort of heat here in the Tampa area with very high temps and extremely uncomfortable dew points. Does this give anyone the feeling that the GOM is getting ready to explode when the upper level conditions and moisture combine with the evergy from that hot water? The heat must be sifting down to deeper levels as well. The gulf beach water was almost uncomfortably hot 4 weeks ago when I last went...I can hardly imagine what it is like now. All that is needed is the right triggers and we could have a couple of monsters develop (and maintain) out there.....
